Tight Knit is a media outlet exploring all the brilliant and unique facets of art. We delve into community building, how the introduction of commerce affects an artist’s relationship to their craft, among many other things.
We love talking to passionate people and allow for their perspectives to guide the conversation. We want to be a platform that gives interesting & diverse artists a chance to explore how they feel about what they do.
The Process
It starts with a casual conversation. We’ll come around with no expectations, maybe you’re working on something, maybe not. We talk about what art means to you, what community means to you. We are essentially just trying to find out what you’re passionate about.
Once we all have an idea about what we want out of these interviews, we’ll set a date to come back and film. We’ll then play around, capturing you working in your space, or selling your art.
After that, we’ll edit a reel and once we’re happy with it, we’ll send it off to you for final approval.
